Message From Your Governor
December is finally here and Christmas is just around the corner. Hopefully everyone had a thankful Thanksgiving.
On December 22nd the men will be having their Christmas dinner, also on that day we will be closing early at 6:00pm. On the 21st we will be having the kids Christmas party starting at 1 and ending at 3pm.
Congratulations to Margaret Chavez on winning our NASCAR package. Also, congratulations to Mel for winning the Queen of Hearts last month.
We are moving our meeting from the 26th to the 19th , reason being the 26th is the day after Christmas and we would like everyone to spend as much time as possible with their families.
Dean, our administrator had his surgery on 18th, if you need anything from the office contact either Randy, myself or Shawn Timm.
Finally I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
Fraternally yours,
William “Willie” Stackhouse Governor
Message From Your Senior Regent
Dear Co-Workers,
Happy December! Holiday Season is upon us! If you are traveling, be safe. We all know how traveling in winter can be in Wyoming.
This year is just flying by. Be sure to check the calendar for events that may interest you. Don’t forget the Kid’s Christmas Party this month. Santa will be here to deliver gift to the kids. Look for the signup sheet in the lodge. The sponsor must be a valid Moose member and the child must be present to receive their gift from Santa. Look for additional information on the party in this newsletter.
Back in July, I reported that there was a meeting to be held in November in Orlando to pursue the idea of the men and women becoming “One Moose.” That meeting was held and there were over 600 Moose sisters and brothers who attended. PowerPoint slides of every topic presentation, plus video clips of all the talks and follow-up questions will be posted online for all members to view. Moose International is currently working on some adjustments based on feedback they received from that meeting. They are refining their go-forward plan for unifying our fraternity; they will be sharing that information with you through Official Communications and postings at www.mooseintl.org.
To make your voice heard, visit www.onemoose.org and participate in the One Moose straw poll, as well as providing any thoughts you may have about this process and our future.
The holidays are a perfect time to remind everyone how much all of you are appreciated. I hope you enjoy a wonderful season filled with the people and traditions that mean the most.
Cheryl Timm
Senior Regent

Moose Happenings
We are going to have a Special get together on Dec. 15th at 1:00 pm to discuss and show the power point on the One Moose Town Hall Mee ng held in Florida. This get together is for ALL MEMBERS (MEN and WOMEN) here is a highlight of what will be discussed.
One Moose Town Hall Meeting Moose International just wrapped up a historic Town Hall meeting in Orlando, Florida
with over 600 of our Moose sisters and brothers in attendance. Presentations and open dialogue surrounded one topic only - unifying our fraternity through the creation of a new Moose organization in which women and men have an equal voice and vote into the opera on and activities of the Lodge.
We will be posting the PowerPoint presentations and any accompanying scripts on the www.mooseintl.org website by Wednesday afternoon, November 13th. We are in process of editing the eight hours of video that was captured and creating smaller clips of the key points for viewing. It is anticipated that those will be available close to Friday, November 15th on the Moose International YouTube channel, which can be accessed via the Moose homepage or the link below. every member can have his/her voice heard by visiting https://www.mooseintl.org/one-moose-vote/ and participating in an informal straw poll, as well as providing us with a few more thoughts about our One Moose future. We suggest casting your vote after you view the PowerPoint presentations and the Town Hall Meeting videos. Voting will be open through Tuesday, December 31, 2019.
