Fellow Co-Workers:
It’s August already!!! My how time flies when your having fun!! It’s been a few busy months around the
Lodge, and a great many terrific things have happened. I would like to thank everyone who comes out to enjoy our meals. It is great to see the old and new faces every week. Thank you as well to all of the volunteers. Without your help, all of this would not be happening. Thank again to every- one!!!
We need your help in recruiting new members. We are having an OPEN MEETING on Thursday the 31st of this month at 6:00 pm. Bring your neighbors, friends, co-workers. We would like to show them what’s it’s really like to be a member of this great organization.
The 4th of July Celebration went off without a hitch. Everyone enjoyed a great meal and then went outside to enjoy the good weather and play some horseshoes.
The Poker Run on the 8th was awesome as usual. Hope to get more people for next year. The more the merrier!
The WOTM had their 1st “Christmas in July” Sale. It went pretty well. We left things out for 7 days to see if we could be more people to purchase things. We made an awesome amount of money for the children’s Christmas Party. Thank you everyone!!!
What’s left over we will use for our Rummage Sale in September. Watch for more on this - A few things to remember for the month of August (other than the usual monthly meals):
