Brothers and sisters,

Our Mobile text club is in full operation. For those of you who aren’t familiar with what this is, it is

another way of communicating functions, dinners, sports activities as well as if for some unforeseen reason we have to cancel something that has been planned like a dinner or a burger night. We can send that information via text message. It’s very easy to sign up. If you are able to receive mobile text messages on your phone just text “moose257” to the number “51660” and hit send. For the Women of the moose text “moose1133” to the number “51660”. Once you have completed that part of it, you will automatically receive text messages on your phone.

Who’s up for a weekend of painting? Our Moose lodge needs a fresh coat of paint on the outside and we are looking for volunteers to help accomplish this task. If you are so inclined to help, contact one of the board members. If we get enough volunteers, we can knock this out in no time.

As of July 1st, the lodge will return to its original hours of operation. There has been a lot of feedback on this and we have listened. So we will go back to opening the lodge at 10:00am, Monday thru Friday. Weekend hours will remain as they have been.

A HUGE thank you to the WOTM for helping the dads start the day off with a terrific Breakfast on Fathers day!!! The coffee cup was icing on the cake. Way to go Ladies, thank you very much!

We have a lot of exciting things coming up; we want YOUR ideas, ideas to make our lodge an example of what a moose looks like when people get involved and when people share ideas. Go to the meetings and let your voice be heard.

Let me end with something to think about,

Before you speak, let your words pass through three gates,

At the first gate, ask yourself, “Is it true?”

At the second gate, ask yourself, “Is it necessary?”

At the third gate, ask yourself, “Is it kind?”
