Brothers and Sisters,
It truly is an honor to be in the position of Governor. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.
I am excited about the new board members, men and women, who have dedicated a year to seeing positive changes happen within our Moose Lodge.
I am looking forward to working with the women of the moose, hearing their ideas and making positive strides to enhancing every aspect of our Moose Club.
If you look at any company who has been successful for a number of years, one thing that is a constant is they are always changing their look, always updating. One thing I truly believe we need to do. A moose club is only as strong as their membership. There is a whole generation of people out there that we need as active members, the 20 somethings, the 30 somethings. But without updating our look, I feel we will never really get those people truly involved.
I understand it’s not going to happen overnight but we need to start somewhere. One of the reasons why I want to start having “The Men and Women Open Meetings” the first being June 29th at 6:30 pm.
Please come and tell us your ideas on how you want to see the direction of this moose club go and your ideas to make it even greater than it is now.
I can’t go without saying just how truly great the people of Moose Lodge 257 are. I can’t begin to put into words how grateful my family is with the outpouring of gratitude you have shown us during our sadness that has surrounded our family these past couple of months. It was an amazing thing to witness and from the bottom of our hearts, Thank You!!!!!
Your Humble Governor,
Ben Adkison
